After Loss Services

You may be thinking “Where should I as an administrator/executor even start after this death?” The grief fog alone likely makes normal day-to-day life difficult, so adding paperwork and logistics on top of this can be overwhelming, even if there was an estate plan left behind.

Society doesn’t expect you to be an expert in all of life’s transitions. When buying a home, opening a business, planning a wedding, having a baby, or navigating a medical issue, there are professionals available to guide you through the process. It should be no different when it comes to grief and loss. Life and Soul doesn’t expect you to go through the life transition of a significant death alone; we are here to guide you through after loss management.

Drawing on our expertise in project management and the Professional After Loss Services (PALS) Training Program™, Life and Soul will coach you through organizing as an executor so that you can efficiently get back on track and use your time to focus on what truly matters. Through it all, we will be your sidekick as you search through necessary documents, serving as your estate project manager, accountability buddy, and general support system.

We personalize your organization plan based on your unique situation. Each plan includes the following support:

  • Advice on next steps

  • A plan of action with timeline

  • Tools for how to gather important documents

  • Guidance on closing out accounts and digital assets

  • Referrals to other key professionals

  • 1:1 support meetings throughout the process

Please note that this process requires working with lawyers, financial advisors, CPAs and other professionls. While these professionals focus on specific tasks, we look at the complete picture, taking care to partner with these professionals and determine the essential details that might otherwise fall through the cracks.
